Eric Wagaman, 28-year-old infielder/outfielder, was designated for assignment by the Mets on May 3, 2026, and subsequently outrighted to Triple-A Syracuse after clearing waivers. He was claimed off waivers from the Minnesota Twins in late April but never appeared in a game for the Mets.
