Cole Ragans, All-Star LHP for the Kansas City Royals, was placed on the 15-day injured list retroactive to May 7 with left elbow impingement (Valgus Extension Overload/VEO). He experienced discomfort during a Wednesday start against Cleveland, pitching only 3 innings before exiting. Medical evaluation revealed no structural damage.
