David Peterson struck out eight over four innings of two-run baseball to get a win over the Yankees on Saturday.

Peterson worked behind opener Huascar Brazoban, with Brazoban throwing 1 1/3 scoreless innings before exiting. Peterson was solid enough after entering, and he generated 10 swings and misses on 82 pitches. He also walked three and allowed six hits, so he was a bit fortunate to allow just the pair of runs in terms of traffic. He'll likely work again in bulk next week.
