Summary

Trevor Rogers, 28-year-old LHP for the Baltimore Orioles, was placed on the 15-day IL on April 29, 2026 due to illness (flu). He posted a 4.75 ERA through his first six starts with 27 strikeouts in 30.1 innings before the injury. Rogers showed early dominance in 2026 (4 runs in 19 innings) but struggled significantly in subsequent outings, including a 17-1 loss to Boston where he failed to escape the second inning. He completed a simulated bullpen session and was reinstated from the IL on May 12, 2026 to make a start against the Yankees.
