Summary

Taj Bradley, Minnesota Twins right-hander, was placed on the 15-day injured list on May 10, 2026 (retroactive to May 6) due to right pectoral inflammation. MRI revealed no significant muscle damage or tears, only inflammation and tightness. Bradley had been performing exceptionally well before the injury, posting a 4-1 record with a 2.87 ERA across 8 starts and 47 innings in his first full season with the Twins. He leads the team with 52 strikeouts and has a 26.1% strikeout rate with an 8.5% walk rate. His last outing on May 5 against Washington was strong (6 innings, 2 runs, 8 strikeouts). As of May 13, Bradley was progressing well in recovery, playing catch and trending toward a bullpen session by week's end. He is consulting with Dr. Keith Meister for a second opinion.
