Summary
Carlos Rodón has been activated off the 15-day injured list after undergoing elbow surgery in October to remove loose bodies and shave a bone spur. He completed three minor league rehabilitation starts, building up to 6 1/3 innings in his final appearance with Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. Rodón is expected to rejoin the Yankees rotation in a mid-rotation role. In 2025, he posted a 3.09 ERA over 195 1/3 innings with 203 strikeouts and improved his groundball rate while reducing home runs allowed. He is stepping back into the rotation behind Max Fried and Cam Schlittler.
