Summary
Hunter Dobbins is being promoted from Triple-A by the St. Louis Cardinals to make his MLB debut on Thursday. This marks his first appearance since suffering a torn ACL in his right knee on July 11 of the previous year while with the Boston Red Sox. Dobbins has completed his ACL rehabilitation and is ready to contribute as a starting pitcher. In five Triple-A starts this season, he posted a 4.37 ERA with a 19.8% strikeout rate and 9.4% walk rate over 22⅔ innings.
