Overall
Summary
Carlos Rodón, 33-year-old Yankees left-hander, underwent surgery in October 2025 to remove loose bodies and shave down a bone spur in his left elbow. After a lengthy rehab assignment beginning in late April, Rodón is on track to make his 2026 season debut on Sunday against the Milwaukee Brewers. He built up to 6.1 innings in his final Triple-A rehab outing on Tuesday. Despite some struggles in his last rehab appearance (5 earned runs in 6.1 innings), his overall rehab ERA stands at 3.38 over 16 innings. Rodón was an All-Star in 2025 with a 3.09 ERA, 1.05 WHIP, and 203 strikeouts over 195.1 innings in 33 starts. He is expected to slot into the Yankees rotation in a mid-rotation role.
