Addison Barger, Toronto Blue Jays right fielder, was recently placed on the 10-day injured list with elbow swelling. He underwent an MRI that ruled out serious structural damage and received a cortisone shot. He is expected to resume baseball activities within the next couple of days and should be eligible to return to the roster within the minimum 10-day IL requirement if recovery progresses as expected. The Blue Jays are dealing with significant roster-wide injury attrition this season.
