Summary
Ryan Harbin, 24-year-old right-handed relief pitcher, was re-signed by the Pittsburgh Pirates to a minor league deal in May 2026 after being released in late April. He was assigned to Triple-A Indianapolis but remains on the injured list recovering from a teres major injury suffered in February 2026. The Pirates protected him from the Rule 5 draft in November 2025 after an intriguing 2025 season, but had to release him to make roster space for Chris Devenski. Once healthy, Harbin will attempt to earn his way back onto the 40-man roster and eventually reach the majors.
