Kervin Castro, 27-year-old Venezuelan reliever, has returned to MLB with the Yankees after nearly 4 years away (last pitched in 2022 with Cubs/Giants). Called up from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on May 7, 2026, Castro made his debut on May 8, pitching 2 innings with 1 ER, 2 hits, 2 Ks against Milwaukee. He was optioned back to Triple-A on May 10 to make room for Carlos Rodón's return from IL.
