Scouting Report: Francisco Lindor

New York Mets | SS

B

Overall

IL-60

Summary

Francisco Lindor has been sidelined since April 22, 2026 with a left calf strain. Recent MRI results show positive signs of healing. Manager Carlos Mendoza reports Lindor is out of his walking boot and has been cleared to progress to strength training in the weight room before beginning a running program. However, Lindor remains nowhere near resuming baseball activities and has no official timeline for return. There is hope he may return in June, but the Mets are being cautious. Before injury, Lindor was heating up offensively (.286 in last 14 games). The 32-year-old five-time All-Star has missed 18+ games for the struggling Mets.
