Francisco Alvarez, Mets catcher, suffered a torn right meniscus in his right knee after fouling off a pitch in the sixth inning against the Detroit Tigers on May 13, 2026. He requires surgery and is expected to return in 6-8 weeks. This is his fourth trip to the injured list since the start of 2024.
