Cole Ragans, 28-year-old All-Star left-handed pitcher for the Kansas City Royals, has been placed on the 15-day injured list retroactive to May 7, 2026, due to left elbow impingement (Valgus Extension Overload/VEO). Ragans exited his start against Cleveland on Wednesday after just 3 innings and 58 pitches, reporting triceps and elbow tightness. Medical evaluation revealed VEO in his elbow.
