Scouting Report: Ramon Rodriguez
Overall
Summary
Carlos Rodón, 33-year-old Yankees left-hander, is returning from left elbow surgery performed in October 2025 to remove loose bodies. After seven months of recovery and three minor league rehab starts, Rodón is set to make his 2026 debut on Sunday against the Milwaukee Brewers. He had an excellent 2025 season (18-9, 3.09 ERA, 203 strikeouts in 195.1 innings) despite pitching with an ailing arm. Rodón is a three-time All-Star in his fourth season with the Yankees and will slot into the rotation as the team awaits Gerrit Cole's return from Tommy John surgery. The Yankees are 25-11 and in first place in the AL East.
