Summary
Jacob Wilson, All-Star shortstop for the Athletics, suffered a left shoulder sprain on May 10, 2026, while diving to cut off a ground ball during a game against the Baltimore Orioles. Wilson was removed in the fifth inning and was seen wearing a sling. Manager Mark Kotsay indicated additional imaging is needed before a full prognosis. Wilson is expected to miss at least 10 days.
