Scouting Report: Drew Campbell
Milwaukee Brewers | RF
Overall
Summary
Kristian Campbell, 23-year-old Boston Red Sox utility player, is showing signs of a turnaround after being demoted to Triple-A Worcester in June 2025. After a hot rookie start (.364 BA, 1.143 OPS in 10 games), Campbell struggled significantly, hitting below .200 over his next 57 games before being sent down. He has since transitioned to the outfield and is demonstrating improved performance in Triple-A. In May 2026, Campbell went 3-for-4 with a home run against rehabbing Yankees All-Star Carlos Rodón, raising his Triple-A slash line to .291/.397/.398 through 28 games with improved walk rate and power metrics. Worcester manager Iggy Suarez noted Campbell is "walking a different" with renewed confidence reminiscent of his early career form.
Strengths
- Hot start to Triple-A season with improved batting average (.291)
