Connor Wong, Boston Red Sox catcher, suffered an ankle injury on Wednesday night during a foul ball attempt when he tripped on batter Edmundo Sosa. Initial imaging came back negative. Manager Chad Tracy reported Wong is doing better than expected, with good mobility and no ligament/tendon damage. Wong is taped up and available in emergency situations only. Wong himself stated the injury is similar to a previous ankle injury he's experienced, which was worse, and expects to be fine.
