Cal Raleigh, AL MVP runner-up and 2025 60-home run hitter, has been placed on the 10-day IL with a right oblique strain after reaggravating the injury on May 14, 2026. The injury was initially sustained in early May and worsened during a game in Houston. MRI imaging showed the injury was "similar or slightly improved" from previous scans. The Mariners are optimistic about recovery timeline but will evaluate week-to-week. Raleigh will receive PRP injection and rest at the team's Peoria facility.
