Mick Abel, Minnesota Twins right-hander, was placed on the 15-day injured list on April 20, 2026 with right-elbow inflammation. After initially showing promise with the Twins (1-2 record, 3.98 ERA, 2.79 FIP in 20.1 innings with 23 strikeouts over 4 appearances), Abel suffered a setback on May 4 when he felt triceps soreness during a simulated bullpen session and received a cortisone injection.
