Scouting Report: Calvin Faucher
Miami Marlins | RP
Overall
Summary
Cal Raleigh, the 2025 AL MVP runner-up who hit 60 home runs last season, has struggled significantly in 2026. After an 0-for-36 hitless streak, he aggravated a right oblique strain on May 13 and was placed on the 10-day IL for the first time in his career. The injury has been lingering for two weeks. Raleigh's 2026 performance has been disappointing with a .157/.238/.320 slash line through 39 games, featuring poor hard contact metrics (87.5 mph avg exit velo, 31.1% hard-hit rate) and a .181 BABIP. He struggled during spring training WBC play and has been unable to replicate his historic 2025 form.
Strengths
- 2025 MVP runner-up with 60 home runs and 125 RBI demonstrates elite power potential
