Scouting Report: Will Klein

Los Angeles Dodgers | RP

B

Overall

day-to-day

Summary

Will Klein is a 24-year-old right-handed reliever who was recently traded from the Seattle Mariners to the Los Angeles Dodgers in exchange for Joe Jacques. After posting a 7.17 ERA and 1.969 WHIP in 22 relief appearances in Triple-A Tacoma last season, Klein has emerged as a revelation with the Dodgers. He was briefly demoted to Triple-A St. Paul by the Twins earlier in the 2026 season after making his MLB debut against Toronto (perfect inning on 12 pitches) and a second appearance against Washington (scoreless sixth inning, but struggled in the seventh). Klein possesses a mid-to-high-90s fastball, solid low-80s curveball, mid-80s splitter, and upper-80s cutter. He is currently ranked 23rd among Major League relievers with 0.5 fWAR and has been effective when called upon by the Dodgers despite being used sparingly this season.
