Scouting Report: Cal Stevenson
Los Angeles Angels | CF
Overall
Summary
Cal Raleigh, Seattle Mariners catcher and 2025 AL MVP runner-up (60 HR, 125 RBI), has been placed on the 10-day injured list with a right oblique strain. The injury was initially sustained in early May and reaggravated on May 14 during a game in Houston. MRI scans show the injury is "similar or slightly improved" from previous imaging. The team is optimistic about recovery, planning a week-long shutdown followed by PRP injection treatment at the Mariners' facility in Peoria, Arizona. Raleigh will be re-evaluated week-to-week. This is his first IL stint in his six-year MLB career. The injury complicates recovery due to Raleigh being a switch-hitter.
Strengths
