Jonathan India, 29-year-old Kansas City Royals second baseman, underwent left labrum surgery on April 28, 2026, after playing with chronic shoulder subluxations for five years since his MLB debut with Cincinnati in 2021. A routine dive against Cleveland on April 7 was the final straw, leaving him unable to swing. He was placed on the 10-day IL on April 20 and is expected to miss the remainder of the 2026 season.
