Scouting Report: Isaac Collins
Kansas City Royals | LF
Overall
Summary
Isaac Collins was traded from the Milwaukee Brewers to the Kansas City Royals in December 2025 as part of a deal that sent reliever Ángel Zerpa to Milwaukee. Collins had an impressive rookie season with the Brewers but struggled early in 2026, hitting .183 through April 24 with 25 strikeouts in 70 at-bats. However, he has dramatically turned things around since late April, emerging as a spark plug in the Royals' lineup during their winning stretch. Over the last 15 days (as of early May), Collins posted a .342/.469/.579 slash line with multiple multi-hit games, including a 3-for-3 performance with a home run, double, and stolen base against Cleveland. At Kauffman Stadium, he is slashing .365/.484/.577 with a 1.061 OPS and three home runs in 52 at-bats. His recent hot streak has coincided with the Royals winning 8 of their last 10 games and moving within a half-game of first place in the AL Central.
Strengths
