Oneil Cruz is having an excellent 2026 season for the Pittsburgh Pirates, becoming the first player in MLB to achieve 10+ home runs and 10+ stolen bases. He's slashing .255/.320/.473 with 10 HR, 15 SB (on 17 attempts), 29 RBI and 31 runs scored in 39 games. This represents a dramatic turnaround from a difficult 2025 season where he hit .200 with 174 strikeouts. Cruz has shown particular improvement against left-handed pitchers and leads the Pirates in runs scored and RBIs.
