Summary
Tyler Glasnow, Los Angeles Dodgers All-Star right-handed pitcher, was placed on the 15-day injured list on May 8, 2026 with lower back spasms. Glasnow exited his start against the Houston Astros on May 6 after one inning while warming up for the second frame. He had just recorded his 1,000th career strikeout (in the fewest innings in MLB history for a starting pitcher). Prior to the injury, Glasnow was performing at an elite level with a 2.72 ERA, 49 strikeouts in 39.2 innings, and a 3-0 record.
