Summary
Jackson Holliday, the Orioles' 22-year-old former first overall pick, has been sidelined since spring training with a fractured right hamate bone. After undergoing surgery in February, his rehab has been complicated by multiple setbacks and lingering soreness. He is currently on his third rehab assignment with Double-A Chesapeake, taking reps at third base for the first time in three years while working his way back. The Orioles are dealing with significant infield depth issues, particularly at third base where the team is producing a .523 OPS (27th in MLB).
