Summary
Domingo González, a 6'0", 185-pound right-handed pitcher, was recalled by the Seattle Mariners from Triple-A Tacoma for his MLB debut. After a waiver claim from the Braves organization in August 2025, González has shown significant improvement in 2026. In 15 innings of relief at Triple-A, he posted a 1.80 ERA with a 23.7% strikeout rate and impressive 3.4% walk rate. He works with a four-seam fastball (93.1 mph average) and slider (85.3 mph), generating above-average chase rates (30.5%) and swinging-strike rates (12.7%). His ground ball rate improved to 50% this season from 44% in 2025.
