Scouting Report: Tony Gonsolin

Overall
Summary
Tyler Glasnow, Los Angeles Dodgers right-handed pitcher, was placed on the 15-day injured list with lower back spasms after exiting Wednesday's start against the Astros after one inning. He tweaked his lower back while warming up for the second frame. This is his third injury in three seasons with the Dodgers. His back discomfort has returned and he has not yet begun throwing off a mound, though he is playing catch. Manager Dave Roberts indicated his return timeline remains uncertain. Glasnow has produced a 2.72 ERA with 49 strikeouts across 39.2 innings in seven starts during the 2026 season. He is tied for sixth in the National League with strikeouts. However, durability remains a significant concern as he has yet to reach 140 innings in an MLB season and has been on the injured list at least once each year since 2018.
Strengths
- 2.72 ERA in 2026 season
- 49 strikeouts in 39.2 innings (tied 6th in NL)
