Hunter Brown (27-year-old RHP for Houston Astros) suffered a Grade 2 right shoulder strain in early April 2026 and was transferred to the 60-day IL on May 9, 2026. He has progressed well in his recovery, completing a successful bullpen session on Friday and is expected to return by mid-June. Brown was an All-Star in 2025 with a 2.43 ERA and 206 strikeouts. He started 2026 strong with 17 strikeouts across 10.2 innings before the injury. Manager Joe Espada noted Brown is eager to return and progressing well mentally.
