Connor Wong, Boston Red Sox catcher, suffered an ankle injury on Wednesday night after tripping on batter Edmundo Sosa while attempting to catch a pop-up in foul territory. Initial imaging came back negative. Manager Chad Tracy provided an encouraging update on Thursday, stating Wong is "doing much better than we thought." Wong has good mobility, all tendons and ligaments are fine, and he is taped up and available if needed in an emergency situation.
