Summary
Francisco Lindor has been sidelined since April 22, 2026 with a left calf strain. As of mid-May, he is showing signs of healing and has progressed to the strength/weight room phase before beginning running progression. Manager Carlos Mendoza confirmed Lindor is displaying positive healing signs but remains without a clear return timeline. An MRI was scheduled to map out return-to-play protocols. The team is not concerned about Achilles involvement. Before injury, Lindor was heating up offensively (7-for-17 over last 5 games with 1 HR and 4 RBI). Season stats prior to injury: .226 BA, 2 HR, 5 RBI over 14 games.
