Summary
Chase Dollander, 24-year-old RHP for Colorado Rockies, was placed on 15-day IL with right elbow strain/minor UCL sprain after being pulled from game vs Pittsburgh Pirates on May 14, 2026. MRI revealed only minor inflammation around UCL ligament, avoiding Tommy John surgery. Dollander dodged major injury but could miss approximately one month. Prior to injury, he was performing well as Rockies' future ace with 3.89 ERA, 47 strikeouts in 10 starts (3-3 record). Velocity was down in final start (97.6 mph vs usual 98.9 mph).
