Cesar Hernández is a utility infielder currently rehabbing from left elbow surgery performed in November. He began a rehab assignment with Triple-A Oklahoma City in late May after being on the 60-day injured list since February. Hernández reported feeling fully healthy for the first time in about a year during this rehab stint. His earliest possible return to the Dodgers is May 24. He previously missed 40 games in July-August with left elbow inflammation. This is expected to be a lengthy rehab process.
