Brennen Davis, a former top prospect derailed by injuries, is proving himself with the Seattle Mariners on a minor league contract. After starting the season on the 7-day injured list with a hamstring strain, Davis has recovered and is performing exceptionally well at Triple-A Tacoma. Through 35 games, he's slashing .293/.404/.569 with 8 home runs, a 145 wRC+, 12.6-12.9% walk rate, and improved contact rate (71.6%).
