Adam Plutko, 34-year-old right-handed pitcher, has announced his retirement from professional baseball after 13 seasons. He spent four of his five MLB seasons with the Cleveland Guardians (2016-2020), one season with the Baltimore Orioles (2021), and had a successful stint in the KBO with the LG Twins (2022-2023) where he posted a 15-5 record and 2.39 ERA. After returning to the United States, he spent time in the minor leagues with the Minnesota Twins and Cincinnati Reds. Plutko underwent pelvic surgery that ended his comeback attempt, and he was unable to secure a new team after becoming a free agent following the Triple-A Louisville Bats season. He finished his MLB career with a 5.39 ERA over 88 appearances (37 starts) across five seasons.
