Scouting Report: Jordan Westburg

Summary

Jordan Westburg, 27-year-old Baltimore Orioles infielder and 2024 All-Star, underwent Tommy John surgery on his right elbow on May 15, 2026, and will miss the entire 2026 season. Westburg suffered a partial tear of the ulnar collateral ligament (UCL) during spring training and initially attempted conservative treatment with a platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injection in February. He began a throwing progression in April but experienced a setback and was shut down again in early May. After consulting with Dr. Neal ElAttrache, the decision was made to proceed with surgery.
