Jim Jarvis, 25-year-old infielder/shortstop, was called up by the Atlanta Braves from Triple-A Gwinnett on May 7, 2026. Originally an 11th-round pick by Detroit in 2023, he was traded to Atlanta in July 2025 for reliever Rafael Montero. Jarvis has impressed in the minors with a .305/.418/.445 slash line through 33 games in Triple-A this season (135 wRC+, .398 wOBA). He made his MLB debut on May 8, recording his first hit and making a diving catch defensively.
