Athletics shortstop Jacob Wilson was placed on the 10-day injured list due to a left shoulder subluxation (dislocated shoulder) suffered on May 11, 2026, while diving to cut off an infield single by Gunnar Henderson in a game against the Baltimore Orioles. The injury occurred in the fifth inning and Wilson was seen wearing a sling after the game. MRI confirmed the subluxation on Monday. Wilson is not expected to require surgery and will begin a rehab program. No timetable for return has been established. Wilson, 24, was an All-Star in 2025 and finished second in AL Rookie of the Year voting after hitting .311/.355/.444 with 13 homers. His 2026 season has seen a decline to .292/.311/.398 with 3 home runs in 39 games played across 168 plate appearances.
