Scouting Report
Updated May 19, 2026
34-year-old right-handed reliever Lou Trivino signed a 1-year contract with the Baltimore Orioles on May 4, 2026, after being released by the Philadelphia Phillies. He was 3-0 with a 2.77 ERA in 10 Triple-A appearances for Lehigh Valley. His Orioles debut was rough, allowing 6 runs in less than 1 inning against the Yankees. He was subsequently designated for assignment on May 11 and elected free agency after clearing waivers. Trivino is recovering from Tommy John surgery (May 2023) and has shown good velocity (94-96 mph) with his sinker and fastball. Career record: 24-27 with 3.87 ERA over 6 seasons.
