Griffin Lockwood-Powell (Brandon Lockridge) was placed on the 10-day injured list on May 9, 2026, after suffering a laceration and contusion to his right knee when he crashed into the outfield wall while attempting to field a foul ball against the Yankees on May 8. X-rays came back clean, ruling out fractures. He required nine stitches for a deep laceration near his knee. Manager Pat Murphy indicated the laceration will keep him sidelined for some time. The injury occurred in the fourth inning when Lockridge collided with the wall below the padding while chasing a foul ball hit by Cody Bellinger.
