Josh Hader, 32-year-old Houston Astros closer, is recovering from left biceps tendinitis and progressing through minor-league rehab assignments. He has completed four rehab outings (4 scoreless innings, 3 hits allowed, 1 walk, 6 strikeouts) and requires approximately five more rehab appearances before activation. Upon return, he should immediately resume the ninth-inning closer role for Houston, as Bryan King has been filling in during his absence.
