Jake Meyers is recovering from a Grade 2 right oblique strain sustained in early April. As of May 4-5, he has resumed baseball activities including swinging a bat, running, and throwing. By May 11, he began a rehab assignment with Double-A Corpus Christi, where he played in a game on May 12. He is expected to be activated and return to the Astros' lineup before the end of May if his recovery continues on schedule. Meyers should be the primary center fielder once cleared for activation.
