Michael Brewer (Angel Zerpa) is a 26-year-old left-handed relief pitcher for the Milwaukee Brewers who will undergo Tommy John surgery to repair his left UCL. He was acquired from the Royals in December 2025 and showed promise early in the 2026 season, including a save in his fifth appearance. However, his performance deteriorated significantly, allowing 11 runs over 8 innings in his final 8 appearances. He was placed on the IL on April 29 with left forearm tightness and will miss the remainder of the 2026 season and likely the start of 2027. The surgery is scheduled with Dr. Keith Meister.
