Jim Jarvis, 25-year-old infielder, was called up by the Atlanta Braves from Triple-A Gwinnett on May 6, 2026, for his MLB debut. Originally drafted by Detroit in the 11th round (2023), he was traded to Atlanta at the 2025 deadline for Rafael Montero. Jarvis has excelled in Triple-A this season, slashing .305/.418/.445 with 4 home runs, 6 doubles, 15 stolen bases in 17 attempts, and excellent plate discipline (23 walks, 27 strikeouts) through 33 games. He will make his debut at shortstop against Seattle. The former Alabama standout becomes the 74th player from the Crimson Tide program to reach MLB and the second this season.
