Kyle Tucker signed a 4-year, $240 million contract with the Los Angeles Dodgers as a free agent. However, he has significantly underperformed expectations in 2026, batting .252 with 4 home runs and 19 RBIs through early May, posting an OPS of .734. He has been named one of MLB's biggest busts this season due to high strikeout and whiff rates, particularly struggling against breaking balls (6-for-28 with 12 strikeouts).
