Scouting Report
Updated May 19, 2026
Denzel Clarke, 24-year-old outfielder for the Oakland Athletics, has been on the 10-day injured list since April 22 with a deep bone bruise in his right foot. As of mid-May 2026, he has made encouraging progress in his rehabilitation. Clarke began with ground-based running progression and hitting activities in early May, and by May 13 had advanced to on-field batting practice and outfield drills. While there remains no official timetable for his return to game action, the progression of his rehab activities is positive. He will likely require a rehab assignment before being activated to the 26-man roster.
